According to a popular parlance, as long as there is life, there is hope. Such was the case of this young Nigerian lady who lost her husband few years ago in Maiduguri.
Premium Times reported the young lady (name withheld) lost her husband during the Boko Haram insurgent in Maiduguri. Ever since the incidence, she has been living with her son until she found love in the arms of her new lover.
Things reportedly went well for this woman as she walked down the aisle with her sweetheart at a Church in Texas, United States (US) with her son leading the bridal train.

The union reportedly took place on Martin Luther King’s holiday and few days after the US president made disparaging remarks about African immigrant countries. At the reception, the couple had in attendance highly educated Nigerian American immigrants.
Report has it that the bride who has a degree in finance and another in nursing, got married to a Liberian. Coincidentally, her late husband reportedly served in Liberia during a military peace keeping mission to bring stability back to the war-torn country.
Boko Haram widow weds new lover in US They further disclosed that the bride had warned her late husband to stay with her in the US and leave the army. She added that, if she was there with him the wounds he sustained would have been properly treated because she has seen worse cases.
The bride also disclosed that ever since the death of her husband, she has been in touch with lots of Boko Haram survivors and has invited many to the US.
